January 18th
Johnny Hamui (right) -The Illinois senior took this week’s honors after he finished 3-0 at the Illini Open in Sarasota. Among his wins was a straight set victory over Florida State’s Clint Bowles, ranked 37 in the country.
Denise Muresan- Michigan Wolverine Muresan received this week’s award after winning the singles title at the Michigan Invitational. The senior is currently ranked 11th in the nation.

January 11th
Evan King (left)-Michigan’s King picked up the conference’s first award of the year after he picked up four wins – two singles, two doubles, at the Key Biscayne Individuals. The wins included a defeat over the No. 5 ranked team in the country by the sophomore and partner Jason Jung.
