Another award for Buchanan, first for Rabot

March 18, 2010
Chase Buchanan is back in the spotlight and Jennifer Rabot is enjoying the first glow as the Big Ten has chosen both as their Players of the Week.
It's only March and Buckeye sophomore Chase Buchanan has already picked up his fourth Big Ten Player of the Week honor, the last of which came just a week ago (sharing the honors with Illini Dennis Nevolo).  Buchanan was an instrumental player in Ohio State's 100th win at home, winning singles and doubles in their victory over Purdue.

The Purdue women's team was not on the losing end last week.  In fact, they got a major ranking boost with a lot of help from sophomore Jennifer Rabot.  Rabot got revenge for the men and clinched the Boilmakers upset win over Ohio State, 4-3.  This is the first  Big Ten Player of the Week Award of the season for both Jennifer Rabot and Purdue.
