February 24, 2010
Ohio State's Chase Buchanan and Indiana's Leslie Hureau were named Players of the Week by the Big Ten.

This the the second honor this year for Chase Buchanan, a sophomore from New Albany, Ohio. This past weekend he helped the Buckeyes to a pair of wins, including one against Kentucky's Eric Quigley, ranked eighth in the country.  The match had Buchanan -- who played No. 6 last year -- in Ohio State's top position. He now has a 7-1 record at No. 1.

Freshman Leslie Hureau picked up her first Player of the Week award.  The Hoosier was 4-0 last week as her team garnered two more wins.  She beat Megan Broderick of Kentucky in No. 1 singles on Saturday and then clinched Indiana's upset over Tennessee on Sunday.  Tennis is not her only sports accomplishment- Hureau, is a former top-ranked skier from France.
